Proyecto RANA-RD Developed entirely in the Dominican Republic and fully funded by the Dominican government, the project’s main objective was the inventory and characterization of the country’s amphibian fauna, as well as the assessment of species categories and threat levels. It also included more in-depth taxonomic studies that led to the identification and description of new species for science.
